*&%$*@!*!&^@*!*

The recent act of setting fire to a party office has hurt me badly. NO- I am NOT a congress supporter.
I care a damn about the people who attempted to such act. May be I am not sensitive enough towards the person who died! But, to me, they are no better than suicide bombers!
And that organization is no better than a terrorist organization. I remember news some time back- the same organization had set fire to buses even when people were sitting in it!! They call themselves fighting for a noble cause! May be it is! I have no idea about what exactly they were trying to do! But I’m just focusing on the way they did it.
I wish such acts are considered as terrorist activities and dealt in the same manner!

I feel bad for the life of Mr. Subramanya Raju, a police man (a solider who took part in Kargil war) and his family. What’s his mistake that he’s struggling for his life? Why do he and his family have to suffer for the ruthless act of a bunch of maniacs?
Icing on the cake is, the media talks so much about the men who set fire to the building and got caught in the same fire as “అమర వీరులు” and nothing about the cop!
What a disgusting act!!!!
They have set themselves on fire! Fine! What right do they have to kill a cop? One of their leaders was saying that they would take up the responsibility of the families of those so-called అమర వీరులు. What about the responsibility of the cop’s family? What about his two innocent kids whose lives are shadowed by this incident?

Mr. Subramanya raju is the వీరుడు. I salute you sir!

I was expecting that opposition would condemn the act. This incident, when elections are just around the corner, has turned out to be a golden opportunity for them and they've held congress is responsible for this instead of condemning it!
If that was the case, I can sin and blame it over some one else! All the terrorist organizations will have one or the other to blame and they can still be considered sacred!
DISGUSTING!!!!
I hate Indian Politics!

My Best poem ever!

Its been long that I wrote something in telugu... while searching for an old mail, I happened to discover my old poem in a corner of my inbox! Immediately, I took it out, dusted it and exhibiting it here for public display!
I'll be waiting for all the beautiful comments :)

I'm Victorious

It's coming towards me.
I need to escape! What do I do...?? Wish I had the Invisibility cloak!
Heck, now get out of imagination and think!
Ohh... Where's all the light gone.... gosh! I'm under its shadow!
RUNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!
I turned around only to see that its still as close as it was!
I increased my pace... turned around... panting... still the same!! It's coming with a much faster pace than me!
Oh God.. I don't want to be clutched in its arms!
I hid myself behind a rock... It has found me and is towards me!
I ran into crowd... no use!!
RUNNNNNNNN........ or It's gonna suck life outa me! It already issss!!!
I can't breath any more! My legs can't run any more! I'm fainting!
I don't want to surrender to it... but, I've lost control over myself... I have no other go but to see myself die! Lemme face it! Why die like a coward when I still have time to face it!
I had a hard time gathering courage!
No.. I won't be able to do it!
Don't give up!
Oh My God!!!
C'monnnnnn!!!
Sigh....!!!!
I turned around.... looked boldly into its eyes and the gigantic figure no more was a giant! It slowly vanished in the thin air!
I can't believe I did it!!
All through, was I running away from something that's in me?!?!?!
I killed the coward in me... who has grown to a gigantic measure....
And here I am.... victorious... victorious over my fears, my inhibitions!

TRAFFIC JAM!!!!! x-(

Arghhhhhhhhhhh!!! I hate traffic jams!!! Being my usual self, I crib a lot to my poor dear husband each day we’re stuck in the traffic, meaning, everyday :-
For a change, I thought I’d spare him for today by cribbing here!

Somehow, I’ve began to hate people who commute by four wheelers all alone adding to the traffic woes. Each day I have to pass through this 1km stretch of miserable traffic, the bottle neck being a tunnel like underpass below the railway tracks. At a time, only two cars can pass through the tunnel and I see a minimum of hundred cars queued up to pass through it! To my surprise, most of the cars carry only one person! Even elephant sized vehicles like scorpio and innova! x-(

Assuming all these people start from the same place and go to the same place (might be a hypothetical situation, but most of the people being software engineers, we can expect that this is quite possible!), if each car is filled up, only one fourth of those number of cars would be on that road! And imagine how much fuel is saved!
During my routine cribbing session, my husband told me that in the US, there are lane systems and people who are car pooling can go on the fastest lane and so, people tend to pool the car most of the time. When I’ve just begun to think about that way of enforcing people to use pooling, ‘knock, knock’ my mind said, “We are in India Dear”!!!! Option ruled out!!! :(

Only option is that people become more responsible towards environment, towards society!
Most of these people being s/w engineers, don’t they know what car pooling is, and what its advantages are? People use internet even to search for a simple recipe, why don’t they use it for purpose like this? Why do people shy away from their social responsibilities? I agree, there are lots of complexities involved with car pooling but when people can manage to catch up with each others timings and go out with friends, why can’t they do it for a good cause? I’ve seen so many s/w engineers join organizations like Green peace, but what are we doing at the grass root level. Paying money to an organization isn’t everything when you add your share of pollution to the environment, be it air or sound! People honk and honk when you can see that the whole road is jammed up! I have no clue why they do that! They might be doing it to vent out their frustration but, that’s no solution! I guess my first blog talks about being a part of the problem, or being a part of the solution! Unless there is a change in people’s attitudes, no body can help situations like this!

Just one simple search in Google led me to so many sites which help us manage pooling. Some of the links are here:
http://www.carpooling.in/search/regular/in-Hyderabad
http://www.hyderabadcarpool.org/Offers.html

If at all there are people who are lone commuters in car among my readers, I urge you to use car pooling! Please, let us help ourselves! Lets save the environment! Pleaaaaaaaaase Pleaaaaaaaaase!!!
